Turks do it better! Bora Aksu autumn/winter 2011 at London Fashion Week

Book covers of Jekyll and Hyde and Sweeny Todd were Bora Aksu’s  inspiration for autumn/winter at London Fashion Week.

Cocktail dresses and skirts with wool blanket-stitched seams. Hand-knits, trousers and jacket sleeves made from plastic bags and woven into fabric gave this collection a futuristic feel.

Turkish-born and London-based Aksu, who has been showing at London Fashion Week for eight years, also designs a Fairtrade capsule collection for People Tree.
