Meadham Kirchhoff autumn/winter 2011 London Fashion Week

The design duo of Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff sent their collection of  folksy-looks’ down the catwalk . Red jumpers, hand-knitted, cream and pleated skirts.

The concept of the collection was inspired by Coco Chanel who designed clothes which ‘didn’t seek approval from men’. The duo addressed the issue of how fashion today can be a caricature of ‘what a woman really is’.
